The Process

Let's Talk!
Contact me and we'll talk about the type of session you'd like to book and any ideas you may have.

Book Your Session
At the time of booking your session, I'll email you a questionnaire to fill out to help me better prepare for our session, along with a contract to sign. A 20% retainer fee is due upon booking. This will be applied towards your session and is non-refundable.

Location, Location
If we haven't already, we will decide on a location for your session. Milage fee will be added to requested locations that are more than 20 miles outside of Sanilac County, MI.

The day of our session, I'll meet you at the set location, ready to go! Relax and let's have fun!
How many pictures will we receive?
The number of pictures you will receive from your session will vary from client to client. Mini sessions include 10 images with the option to purchase any additional images that are included in your gallery. On average, you can expect anywhere from 25 -50 images. This will depend on cooperation, weather, type of session, and time of day the session takes place. No matter the quantity of pictures in your gallery, you can expect beautiful, quality images.
How should we dress for our family session?
When choosing outfits for your session, keep in mind where you want to display your pictures in your home. Stick to 2-3 color palettes when coordinating outfits. Pinterest is a great resource for outfit coordination! Whatever you choose to wear, make sure you are comfortable and confident!
When is the best time to have a session with a newborn?
Within your baby's first 2 weeks home is the best time for newborn pictures. Fresh babies are sleepy and also more flexible during their first few weeks outside the womb. Natural light is best, so morning or early afternoon sessions are recommended! Be sure to feed and change baby right before the session starts, to get those sleepy shots and sweet little smiles.
